Rap et levrette, Country et sodomie: préférences musicales et sexuelles

In music, sex is even better. According to a TickPick study, listening to good sound would improve our performance in bed! Even more crisp, our musical tastes would be indicators of our sexual preferences. Jazz and foot fetishism, Pop and missionary position, Blues and performance … Let’s Rock’n’Love!

Do you have a favorite playlist when you’re having sex? Is there a song that gives you more naughty desires than another? According to a very serious study of the site TickPick, site selling tickets for concerts and cultural events (NBA, NFL), our musical tastes have a lot to teach us … Especially when it comes to sexual preferences! It is on a panel of 1,010 sexually active people (54.6% men and 45% women) ranging from generation X, Z, Y, not to mention the baby boomers (which represent 10.4% of those surveyed) that this report is based on. And the results are quite fantastic.

  • The owners ofAirpods make love with

The study does not say whether they listen to music or not, but they are 17% of Airpods holders (Apple wireless headphones, editor’s note) to make love by keeping them in your ears! Isn’t that a bit dangerous?

  • Rap and Hip-Hop fans prefer doggy style

They are 40.5% fans of urban music to declare that their favorite position is the doggystyle (doggy style in French). For Pop Music fans, the missionary wins with 32.9%. For the metalheads (Heavy Metal in particular) the preferred position is the cowgirl (23.4%) followed by the reverse cowgirl (8.3%). Folk folk love the spoon. Romantic !

  • What kind of music stimulates us the most?

Let’s face it, we are all a bit fetishistic at the edges. Pretty curves, little knobs, favorite positions or toys: everyone has their own trick! According to the survey TickPick, indie rock aficionados are crazy about BDSM (51.5%), not far from those who listen to Pop (50.2%) or Folk music (48.3%).
If you have the opportunity to spend a night with an auditor Country music, do not hesitate ! They are little pranks who love anal sex (36.9%) and role playing (47.7%). On their side, jazz lovers would be foot fetishists (27.7%), as were EDM fans (26.8%) and Reggae lovers (25.5%).
Lingerie in all this? It would tickle the senses of Pop (35.1%), Reggae (34.3%), EDM (34.2%), Rock Indie (33.5%) and classic rock (33.2%) fans. ).

Which song for which sensation? It is known that the subliminal messages of songs can have an impact on our mood, our behavior… And if it was the case in bed? According to the balance sheetTickPick, pop lovers are often very young and, in terms of sex, satisfaction is not always there because of a lack of practice but also of messages that cause frustration.
For example, the title Side to Side Ariana Grande talks about sex in a bestial way, to the point that the singer says she can not get up after her crazy night. Similarly, TheWeeknd songs are raw: sex is presented as an assault.
Texts of such a content, listened to over and over again, could give rise to expectations that are too far removed from reality that young couples cannot reach, hence their dissatisfaction.
Regarding Country Music, which seems to represent a part of the older and more experienced panel, the lyrics describe sex in a realistic way and with more sensuality and less aggressiveness. For example, on its title Strawberry Wine, Deana Carter speaks of her first time as a sweet memory. Everything would therefore be played out on our imagination and ideas conveyed by music.
In addition, we learn that Blues fans last the longest in bed with, on average, 16 minutes of intercourse.

Lovers of good music, are you sexually responsible? According to the results of the TickPick, fans of Country are the bad students: only 49.9% protect themselves during their sexual intercourse. This is slightly less than fans of Pop (57.3%) and classic rock (57.9%). Conversely, those who like heavy metal (65%) indie rock (64.7%) and hip-hop / rap (64.6%) are the partners who put on a condom.

  • Couples with similar musical tastes are happier in bed

You might have doubted it, well, it’s now official! According to the study, 79% of respondents who share the same tastes in music say they have a fulfilling sex life with their partner. These couples would make love 8 times a month, according to the data collected.
On the other hand, tandems that do not get along musically speaking only 43% are satisfied with their antics and only make love about 6 times a month. But everything is relative … Oh yeah!
