The countdown to summer has started! Let those who have not followed a regular sports routine all year round reassure themselves: there is still time to catch up prepare your “Bikini Body”.
However, there is no longer any question of making drastic and frustrating regimes while aiming for unrealistic objectives. A gentle breeze blows over the new sports programs : fun, pleasure and kindness are the watchwords.
If one balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are essential, nothing preventsoptimize your sports routine a few weeks before summer in order to survey the beaches without complex. A few pounds to lose, want to build muscle, or just need to tone up silhouette… Whatever the objective, we have selected 6 sports lessons to challenge each other before the heyday.
1. The “Body and Beach” course at the Factory to strut around in a swimsuit
As the name suggests, this 45-minute course immediately gets to the point. After a short warm-up, make way for training based on the “Tabata” system : a rapid sequence of exercises alternating muscle building and cardio, with a minimum of recovery between each series. A fun way to build muscle while speeding up your metabolism, allowing you to burn calories even after the session. For those who ask for more, the course is followed by a 30-minute focus on the abs.

2. The course “All 4 the Butt” at La Montgolfière to have a plump buttocks
This course with a very evocative name (understand “Everything for the behind”) is ideal for those looking to have the buttocks of J-Lo. On the program, an obstacle course like bootcamp with exercises focused mainly on the large, medium and small glutes. Squats, lunges, burpees… all decorated with accessories to intensify each movement (Bosu balance ball, Kettlebell loads or TRX straps). The promise ? “The best recipe for causing torticollis on the beach”. All is said.

3. Lucile Woodward’s “Body By Lucile” program to progress at your own pace
State-certified sports coach trained in micronutrition, Lucile Woodward launches an ultra-complete summer program to follow in 4, 8 or 12 weeks. 4. The “Ultimate Challenge” sessions at Episod to surpass yourself
For those who are not afraid to challenge themselves, these ultra intense sessions of 30 minutes each (a choice between Cycling, Bootcamp or Rowing lessons) will encourage you to exceed your limits. The coaches, sports performance specialists (most of whom are high-level champions), challenge you: heavier loads, higher resistance, sprints, very short transitions … The objective? Carry out 9 sessions in 21 days. Ideal for those who want to maximize efforts and get results in record time.

5. Julie Pujols-Benoit’s “Summer Box” to refine her figure

6. The “Timer” course at Chez Simone to test your limits
This 45-minute class is inspired by the AMRAP method, which comes from the English “As Many Rounds as Possible” (note: “As many rounds as possible”). Popularized by the Crossfit, it is about linking bodybuilding exercises as many times as possible in a given time, and not on a number of repetitions or predefined series. Pumps, burpees, squats, crunches … No part of the body is spared in this race against the clock. The objective is to reduce the pause times between the series, until they are completely eliminated.
